Saving lives through education

Melanoma Videos: for Students

If your school does not offer melanoma education watch one of the videos below. You will learn what melanoma is, how to do a quick self-skin check to find early stage melanoma while it is easily cured in a short outpatient visit without chemo or radiation and ways you can decrease your risk of melanoma. After watching one of the videos you will likely know more about melanoma than your parents. Because of their age, their risk is higher than yours, but you can view or download a one-page “See Spot” document and use it to teach them about early detection. Lives have been saved by students who shared their knowledge with family members.
